Hewlett Packard Enterprise is accelerating space exploration and increasing astronauts’ self-sufficiency by enabling real-time data processing with advanced commercial edge computing in space for the first time. The HPE edge computing system, called Spaceborne Computer-2 (SBC-2), is set to launch in February and be installed on the International Space Station (ISS).
